After an absence this long, I am astounded to actually add an update. Some projects just want to live!
There are several Crisis Girl comics out there that were drawn over the years by the lovely Marc Ngui. I will be putting them up here in the coming weeks.
In this one from 2003, Crisis Girl explains how to make Vietnamese style spring rolls (fresh salad rolls). .
The drawings show step by step techniques to master the sometimes tricky business of handling the rice paper sheets, how best to balance the flavours of the roll ingredients and sauces, and how to manage a work space for fast assembly in a recipe that may be quite time consuming to execute in large quantities. It's fast with these tips!
